• Discharge Assistance – We work directly with physicians and hospital discharge planners to insure a smooth transition from hospital care to home care.
• 24-Hour emergency Service – Special Emergency assistance is available to our patients through a 24-hour phone service.
• Reimbursement Assistance – Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurance payers are pre qualified for direct payment.
• Patient Instruction and Training – The trained staff of the home health service professionals insures that each patient is full trained on the operation and care of equipment. Instruction is carried out in the convenience and comfort of the patient’s home.
• Respiratory Service – At Your Side! – Gould’s Respiratory therapy staff instructs, supervises, educates and includes a staff pharmacist. Your Respiratory Therapist will be at your side during your initial home oxygen setup and will continue regular home visits free of charge to assure the highest level of patient care.
• Nebulizers and Nebulizer Medications – Why call 1-800, when you can let LOCAL servicefrom people who care about YOU? Gould’s Pharmacy enables timely, local nebulizer medications for Medicare patients. You will not have to wait long periods for refill deliveries, and our Pharmaceutical Technicians will call you monthly to check on you reserves. We are your “neighborhood” local nebulizer medication provider.
• Patient Assessment – The trained staff member continually monitors and assesses the needs of the patient to insure that service being provided is both timely and up-to-date.
• Home Accessibility Assessments – Our experienced staff will come to your home or work to assess the environment and recommend modifications or equipment that will facilitate optimal accessibility free of charge.
• Service Department – Our service staff includes 6 skilled technicians that service home medical equipment both inside and at the patient’s home.
• Residential Elevator Division – Gould’s carries a full line of residential elevator products. Our trained installation technicians work with builders, remodelers, and the customer to ensure the best product selection and a smooth installation process.
• Delivery Service – Gould’s delivers equipment, performs setup and patient instruction, in most cases free from additional charge.
• Consultations – Staff professionals meet, as required, with referral personnel or with the patient and family to solve any matter involving home care services.
